Your journey begins by acknowledging that you have an interest in freemasonry. It may be wondering what goes on inside those masonic halls or it may even be you have a friend who is a freemason.
The next step is contacting a lodge. You can find our contact details on the website. Out secretary is always happy to tell men who are interested what the next stage will be.
Informal Meeting
The first meeting will be at the Pump House in the lanes, in Brighton over a glass of something suitable! This will be an informal chat with the master of the lodge which is really just about getting to know you and you getting to know a little bit about us. If you are happy to move forward then we will arrange a second, more formal meeting with some of our other members.
Formal Meeting
Don't worry about the word formal; we're not a very formal bunch outside of lodge, but we have to call it something! This meeting will be upstairs in the Pump House and you will get to meet the Master, Secretary, and a few more of our members. Again, this is for you to get to know us and us to get to know you. We will let you know right away if you have been accepted into our lodge!

Your Initiation
We will arrange a date which works for both you and us for that most important of days in a Freemason's life. Your initiation will be something you will always remember.
Your Masonic Journey starts with you initiation but will continue for as long as you live. We can't tell you about some parts of that journey as they are bound by the secrets which unite all freemasons.

Social
There is a fun and lively social aspect. We regularly meet outside of lodge too!
Visit
Once you have been initiated into Freemasonry you are able to visit other lodges. This is a big part of being a freemason.
